The (FFKM) fully fluorinated O-ring not only has excellent resistance to high and low temperature chemical corrosion like PTFE, but also combines the flexibility and elasticity of rubber. Capable of withstanding over 1800 different chemicals while providing high temperature stability. Mainly used in extreme environments such as highly corrosive chemical treatment, semiconductor chip manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and aerospace. Its superior physical properties make it an irreplaceable rubber material in the field of sealing under extreme conditions of strong corrosion and ultra-high temperature.
General characteristics of perfluororubber: Perfluororubber is a monomeric ternary copolymer in which all hydrogen atoms are replaced with fluorine atoms. Due to the absence of hydrogen atoms in the molecular chain, the chemical corrosion resistance and heat resistance of perfluororubber are significantly enhanced. This cross linked molecular chain endows perfluororubber with both the elasticity and sealing power of synthetic rubber, as well as the chemical inertness and thermal stability of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
