Introduction to Pan Sai Feng
Pan plug seal (full name: Pan plug spring tension energy storage support seal, also known as spring tension seal, spring energy storage seal) is a sealing component made of polytetrafluoroethylene or other high-performance materials with special springs inside. With appropriate spring force and system fluid pressure, the sealing lip (surface) is pushed out and gently pressed against the sealed metal surface to generate excellent sealing effect. The actuation effect of the spring can overcome slight eccentricity of the metal mating surface and wear of the sealing lip, while maintaining the expected sealing performance. Can be used for oils, water, steam, air, solvents, pharmaceuticals, food, acid-base, chemical solutions, etc.
Polytetrafluoroethylene, as the main material of the plug sealing shell, has better chemical resistance than perfluororubber and is a sealing material with good heat resistance. It can be applied to the vast majority of chemical fluids, solvents, as well as hydraulic and lubricating oils. Its low swelling property allows it to maintain its sealing performance for a long time. Various special springs are used to overcome the elasticity problems of PTFE or other high-performance rubber plastics, and to develop seals that can replace the majority of seals used in static or dynamic (reciprocating or rotating motion) applications. By replacing the appropriate shell material and supporting spring with professional sealing design, the operating temperature range of the flood plug seal can reach -200 ℃ to 260 ℃, the pressure can be increased from vacuum to ultra-high pressure of 200Mpa, and the linear speed can reach up to 15m/s. Therefore, it can be applied to various high and low temperature corrosive fluids and other occasions.
Pan plug seals can be made according to AS568A standard O-ring grooves (such as radial shaft seals, piston seals, axial face seals, etc.), completely replacing universal O-rings, or our company can provide a reasonable groove design. Pan seal can maintain good sealing performance for a long time due to its lack of swelling. For example, in the high-temperature corrosive environment of petrochemical processes, the most common cause of leakage for mechanical shaft seals is not only uneven wear of the sliding ring, but also the poor cracking damage of the O-ring. Using a universal plug seal can completely improve the problems of rubber softening, swelling, surface roughening, wear, etc., thus greatly improving the service life of mechanical shaft seals.
Pan plug sealing is suitable for both dynamic and static sealing applications. In addition to the sealing applications in high-temperature corrosive environments mentioned above, it is highly suitable as a sealing component for air hydraulic cylinders due to its low friction coefficient of the sealing lip, stable sealing contact pressure, high pressure resistance, and tolerance for large radial deflection and groove size errors. It can replace U-shaped or V-shaped compression to achieve excellent sealing performance and service life.
